How to Amplify Your Work through Media & PR
Media Training Workshops are open to all faculty in the College of Arts & Letters, and are for people who already have media experience, as well as those who are interested in learning more. The College of Arts & Letters partners with University Communications and Marketing on media training offerings.
Workshops generally run from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with lunch provided. The last media training workshop was Oct. 11, 2024.
University Communications and Marketing is revamping its media training workshop offerings during spring 2025. We’ll share any future workshop dates when available.

Media Training Workshop Description (from fall 2024)
As a scholar and researcher in the College of Arts & Letters, you help solve the world’s most pressing problems. To truly impact others, your voice needs to be heard more broadly to help create a more engaged and informed society.
Working with journalists gives faculty opportunities to provide accurate, informative updates about events, projects, and research that are then communicated to the general public, decision-makers, funders, and other academics.
