Theatre Alum Returns to Campus as Part of ‘The Book of Mormon’ North American Tour

As a high school student, Kevin T. Mazur sat in the audience at Detroit's Fisher Theatre watching the Broadway tour of “The Book of Mormon” and dreamt of a life on stage, a future in New York, and the possibility of one day joining a company like the one performing that day. Nearly a decade later, he has accomplished all that.

Religious Studies Professor to Explore Her Artistic Side as a KBS Artist-in-Residence

Blaire Morseau started doing beadwork 20 years ago, first learning how to create on a loom and then teaching herself beaded embroidery. Her beaded creations even helped pay her rent when she was a graduate student at the University of New Mexico. Morseau is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Religious Studies at Michigan State University and an 1855 Professor of Great Lakes Anishinaabe Knowledge, Spiritualities, and Cultural Practices at MSU.

Theatre Students Bring Immersive Storytelling to Corey Marsh in Support of Ecological Research

In a collaboration between arts and sciences at Michigan State University, the Department of Theatre presented six immersive outdoor theatrical performances of “The Grown-Ups,” set around a campfire at the Corey Marsh Ecological Research Center, a 350-acre property located in Laingsburg, Michigan, that is managed by MSU’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

MSU Undergraduate Art Exhibit at (SCENE) Metrospace Through April 24

The 2025 Undergraduate Exhibition presented by the Department of Art, Art History, and Design (AAHD) at Michigan State University features the work on 41 students created in AAHD courses during the past year. This juried exhibition runs through Thursday, April 24, at (SCENE) Metrospace, 110 Charles Street, East Lansing, Michigan. Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Thursday-Sunday. An exhibition reception is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 11.
