2025 Faculty Award Winners Recognized for Outstanding Achievement

The College of Arts & Letters honored its Faculty Award Winners at the 2025 College of Arts & Letters Faculty and Staff Welcome Reception on Sept. 29 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. These faculty members were recognized for their outstanding leadership, teaching, innovation, and community engagement, as well as the significant impact they have made in enhancing curriculum and student experiences.

Several College Projects Supported by HARP Development and Production Awards

Projects by College of Arts & Letters faculty, ranging from a linguistic course, to traveling exhibitions, to books on a range of subjects, received support this year from Humanities and Arts Research Program (HARP) Development or Production Awards. Funding for these HARP Grants is provided, in part, through the Michigan State University Research Foundation.

Professor Receives Fulbright Award to Research Buddhist Migrants

Research and Awards Presented at Religious Studies Conference

This year, five undergraduate students majoring in Religious Studies were featured at the Religious Studies Undergraduate Research Conference and Awards Presentation. Two of the five students, Addison Bordine and Emma Pittsley, presented their research and senior thesis. Pittsley’s thesis, “The Student’s Path to Developing a Social Enterprise,” focused on the ground work in planning an organization to support interfaith families.…
