Passion and perseverance will be your biggest allies in life.
My position includes planning and running events to elicit funds for individuals who are a ected by muscular dystrophy. We collaborate closely with donors and sponsors to help support research, summer camps, support groups, and various other medical needs.
Being an English major at MSU taught me how to communicate e ectively with others. My major taught me problem solving, divergent thinking, and how to overcome barriers. So much of my job is reading and writing and relating to others – all of which are necessary to
succeed in the College of Arts & Letters.
Figure out what your passion is and then do that. Loving what you do
is vital in nding a career that you will excel at. The details will work themselves out. Passion and perseverance will be your biggest allies in life.
