We would like to inform you of a few changes taking place to the MSU College of Arts & Letters Arts Weekend programming. Due to all university-sponsored travel (international and domestic) being suspended at MSU, the students and faculty will not be in attendance this year which means some of the original activities planned will be altered. Although the students and faculty cannot participate, the MSU Alumni band Dangling Participles will still perform and many other activities will remain the same, we will also have a new events to look forward to.
Activities Include
- Private porch receptions and gourmet dinners
- An enjoyable evening of musical theatre with a performance by MSU Department of Theatre students
- Discussion and tour of the Mackinac Island Manoogian Art Collection
- The Sounds of Religion — A presentation by Amy DeRogatis, Professor of Religious Studies, and Isaac Weiner, Associate Professor of Comparative Studies and Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Religion at The Ohio State University
- Timeless Fashion — A fashion show with student-designed garments and a presentation by faculty from the Apparel and Textile Design program and Rebecca Schuiling, Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre
- The Dangling Participles — Bluesy Americana Music entertainment, a band composed of MSU faculty and alumni
