The Cube with Dr. Kate Birdsall
During this Conversation, Dr. Birdsall will briefly highlight how The Cube supports undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Arts & Letters, share some of the Cube-sponsored projects with a focus on the Detroit Accessibility Project, the Holt DEI Project, and The Current.
Dr. Kate Birdsall is an associate teaching professor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures, which she joined in 2014. She is a rhetorician, a creative writer, and an award-winning teacher. She designed and implemented what became The Cube in academic year 2017-18, and most recently won MSU’s prestigious Creating Inclusive Excellence Grant, which allows her to direct projects focused specifically on DEI initiatives in the mid-Michigan community.
