Every day is different in the world of travel and tourism communications, which makes my role exciting and fast-paced. I manage the editorial process and digital publishing of the Visit Detroit blog. I frequently work with the media and travel writers, helping them tell the comeback story of Detroit, which makes for days exploring the city for potential story ideas. I also produce several public relations materials for the DMCVB and provide written materials and editing support for the Visit Detroit magazine.Complete as many internships as you can and don’t be afraid if they push you outside your comfort zone.
