Students Sell and Display Their Work at Pop Up: Art Market

If you are looking for some last-minute holiday gifts, this week students in MSU’s Department of Art, Art History, and Design (AAHD) are displaying and selling their artwork in a pop up shop they helped set up at (SCENE) Metrospace

Pop Up: Art Market was organized by students in collaboration with (SCENE) Metrospace, a gallery located in downtown East Lansing that is run by AAHD. All the art featured in the show is student art.

The event is meant to support these emerging artists, helping them to make a name for themselves and their art.

Pop Up: Art Market has extended its hours for the rest of the week. It is open Thursday, December 14, from 12-7; Friday, December 15, from 1 to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, December 17, from noon to 5 p.m.

(SCENE) Metrospace, locate at 110 Charles Street, is a hub for all types of art including art exhibitions, musical performances, and other forms of expression.
