MSU’s Center for Interdisciplinarity (C4I) is offering a new series of presentations that celebrates innovative and influential interdisciplinary research involving the arts and humanities.
The University Interdisciplinary Colloquium (UIC) presentations are delivered by accomplished interdisciplinary scholars who are engaged in work that integrates a wide variety of perspectives, including the full range of perspectives within the University as well as those from outside the University.
“MSU is a world leader in interdisciplinary research, and artists and humanists on campus are making key contributions to a wide range of important projects,” said Michael O’Rourke, Interim Director of the Center for Interdisciplinarity. “This series will provide them with a forum to talk about their work and amplify their message to Spartans and members of the surrounding communities. It is a way that C4I aims to enhance to the culture of interdisciplinarity at MSU.”
Coffee and refreshments are provided at each UIC presentation. Also, recording of presentation will be available on the Center for Interdisciplinarity website.
