Currently, I am a Solution Developer within the Application Management Services Area for Deloitte Consulting LLP. I work on a project that develops working solutions to assist with how state agencies process and maintain health and human services programs.

Having a Humanities-Prelaw major allowed me to study various areas of human culture including studying abroad to Costa Rica and experiencing other cultures. After graduation, I started working for local government, then I moved into state government, and finally into my current position developing solutions for the public sector. The well-rounded curriculum I had with this major also prepared me to start a nonprofit in Michigan based on community needs for youth.

Create a well-rounded curriculum for yourself that will allow you to learn about various human cultures and immerse yourself within the communities you want to serve. Explore opportunities that allow you to look at life through the eyes of the people you want to serve. Most importantly, never stop doing your best or working your hardest, all hard work will pay off.
